The Ford 2016 Explorer will also be available with LED fog lights borrowed from the 2015 Edge. The rear of the 2016 Explorer is still mostly concealed, but it appears as though there are changes in store for the D-pillar. Ford is said to be working on a glass-to-glass rear cargo area design that should give the Explorer a cleaner look. New-look taillights will also be part of the package.

After debuting in Los Angeles, the 2016 Ford Explorer will go on sale across the nation next spring. Pricing information will be published closer to its on-sale date.
